Mesquite Bean Jelly

Mesquite is a small shrub-like tree armed with straight, stout spines that produces delicious, edible fruits called Mesquite beans or pods. The plant is a signature plant of the South Texas Plains. The bean pods can be dried and ground into a four, adding a sweet, nutty taste to breads or used to make jelly or wine. Perfect spread for toast or biscuits.  10oz
