Beware of applying conditioner

I love the vest. Shortly after I got the vest I purchased Honey leather conditioner to protect it. I did a sample check on the area of the vest to make sure there would not be a problem with discoloration. As I worked my way from the bottom to the top of the vest an area turned black on the vest. All other areas of the vest were fine. I share this with you to prevent a similar experience. I do love my vest but the black spot is always going to bother me. :(
