Grit and refinement meet in the Norias Roughout Boot—named for the historic division of King Ranch famous for dense brush. Crafted from full grain roughout steer hide in a deep chestnut tone, this timeless cowboy profile features a narrow J toe and a stacked leather heel. A removable cushioned insole brings all-day comfort to a boot made for both the saddle and the street.
Founded in 1853, each pair is still crafted in their original workshop in Mercedes, Texas. More than handmade, these leather cowboy boots are made by masters. Hand-cut leather is stitched on vintage Singer machines, toe boxes are sculpted and sanded by hand, and hides are lasted and pegged with the precision of generations. It’s not just the process that makes them exceptional, it’s whose hands are making them. With all-leather construction and a fit that molds to the foot, Rios boots feel like gloves—snug yet supple, never slipping or sliding. It’s this dedication to detail that made them the ideal collaborator with King Ranch: two institutions shaped by the land, committed to their craft, and steeped in the stories of the American West.
