Assault Matchbox Cover

A tribute to one of the greatest champions in King Ranch history. Bred and foaled on King Ranch, Assault made racing history in 1946 when he became the seventh winner of the American Triple Crown and the first and only Texas-bred horse ever to accomplish the feat. This matchbox cover commemorates the legendary Thoroughbred with an image of Assault under jockey and the inscription “Assault Triple Crown Winner 1946.” Finished with nickel-plated brass trim, it brings a celebrated chapter of King Ranch sporting heritage to the home.
