On January 10, 1901, the Luca No. 1 well blew in at Spindletop. Spewing oil 100 feet in the air, this fabled well - and hundreds like it - were drilled using wooden derricks commemorated by this set of accessories. Each piece is hand-engraved, antiqued sterling silver accented with a 3-dimensional 14-karat gold-filled derrick and hand-cut Running W® brand - both enduring symbols of the storied history of Texas.
